Anna Glezer, M.D.

Dr. Glezer is a practicing physician on faculty at the University of California, San Francisco, with joint appointments in the Department of Psychiatry and Department of Obstetrics/Gynecology and Reproductive Sciences. She is board certified in adult psychiatry, a member of the American Psychiatric Association, and the immediate past President of the Northern California Psychiatric Society. She is the founder of Women’s Wellness Psychiatry and has worked with hundreds of women going through the emotional challenges of conception, pregnancy, loss, and postpartum.

Chantelle Thomas, Ph.D.

Clinical psychologist and Executive Clinical Director for addiction treatment center The Manor

Dr. Thomas is a clinical psychologist specializing in addiction, trauma, and health psychology and the Executive Clinical Director for The Manor, a residential addiction treatment center in Wisconsin. She completed her internship and post-doctoral fellowship in Health and Rehabilitation Psychology at the University of Wisconsin School of Medicine and Mental Health, where she gained specialized expertise in medical-surgical consultation, trauma-informed therapy and chronic pain treatment. She is also a certified biofeedback practitioner.

Christopher Nicholas, Ph.D.

Clinical psychologist & Assistant Professor, University of Wisconsin-Madison School of Medicine and Public Health

Dr. Nicholas is a Clinical Psychologist and Assistant Professor at the University of Wisconsin-Madison School of Medicine and Public Health, where he specializes in pain management and complex regional pain syndrome. Current research includes MDMA-assisted psychotherapy for PTSD and novel therapeutics for mental illness, addiction, and overall well-being. Previously, he served as Clinical and Research Psychologist at University of Minnesota and Minneapolis VA/Dept of Defense, where he completed a fellowship in Advanced Geriatrics, Aging, and Neuroimaging.

Damon Ramsey, M.D.

Healthcare futurist and practicing physician at University of British Columbia

Dr. Ramsey is a healthcare futurist and practicing physician in Vancouver, where he serves as Chief Product Officer of TELUS Health. His career has been distinguished by his blending of clinical expertise and command of software design in producing solutions that tackle healthcare delivery’s glaring inefficiencies. Prior to joining TELUS Health, Dr. Ramsey was Co-founder of InputHealth, the first Canadian cloud-based collaborative health record (CHR). He actively practices in the University of British Columbia Student Health Service and is also lead physician of Occupational and Preventive Health at the university.

Dr. Jody Thomas

Clinical health psychologist and Executive Director of the Meg Foundation

Dr. Thomas is a licensed clinical health psychologist, a specialist in pediatric medical illness and trauma, and an internationally known expert in pain. She is the founder and Executive Director of the Meg Foundation. She is also a founder and former Clinical Director of the Packard Pediatric Pain Rehabilitation Center at Stanford, as well as a former Assistant Professor at the Stanford University School of Medicine and current adjunct faculty. As a consultant for the Lucile Packard Children’s Hospital at Stanford, she directs projects on the integration and innovation of pain management using tech-based intervention.

Fernando Torres-Gil, Ph.D.

Professor of Social Welfare and Public Policy, UCLA Luskin School of Public Affairs

Dr. Torres-Gil is a Professor of Social Welfare and Public Policy at UCLA, an Adjunct Professor of Gerontology at USC, and Director of the UCLA Center for Policy Research on Aging. He has served as Associate Dean and Acting Dean at the UCLA School of Public Affairs, and most recently Chair of the Social Welfare Department. Dr. Torres-Gil has worked in the fields of disability and aging since the 1970s and was the first Assistant Secretary for Aging in the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services. In 2010 he received his third presidential appointment when President Obama appointed him as Vice Chair of the National Council on Disability.

Jaelline Jaffe, Ph.D., LMFT

Psychotherapist, educator, and author specializing in relationship issues, anxiety, and chronic illness

Dr. Jaffe is an educator and licensed marriage and family therapist with a doctoral degree in counseling psychology from the University of Southern California. In her private psychotherapy practice, she specializes in relationship issues, anxiety, and chronic illness. Dr. Jaffe is co-author of The Heroic Journey: A Rite of Passage Program for Adolescents, used in Montessori middle schools and other private, charter, and home schools across the country. She is also co-author with Jeanne Segal, Ph.D. of The Language of Emotional Intelligence.

John E. Kobara, M.A., MBA

Leader and manager of nonprofit organizations, companies, and technology startups

John Kobara has been leading and managing innovative nonprofit organizations, companies, and technology startups for almost 40 years. Prior to his retirement in 2019, he was executive vice president and chief operating officer of the California Community Foundation, the 39th largest grant making foundation in the nation with more than $1.7 billion in assets. Previously, he served as head of Big Brothers Big Sisters of Greater Los Angeles. John is actively involved in advancing social justice by increasing access to educational opportunities in Los Angeles.

Laura Trejo, MSG, MPA

Executive Director for Aging and Community Services, Los Angeles County WDACS

Dr. Trejo is Executive Director for Aging and Community Services, a branch of the Los Angeles County Department of Workforce Development, Aging and Community Services. Previously, she served as General Manager of the City of Los Angeles Department of Aging and as first District Chief for countywide older adult mental health for the Los Angeles County Department of Mental Health. Dr. Trejo is co-lead for the Los Angeles Aging Disability Resource Connection and a Co-Director of the UCLA Los Angeles Community Academic Partnership for Research in Aging. She is active in the American Society on Aging, where she served as founding chair of the Mental Health and Aging Network.

Marti Glenn, Ph.D.

Clinical-Director of Ryzio Institute and founding president of Santa Barbara Graduate Institute

Dr. Glenn is co-founder and Clinical Director of Ryzio Institute, and founding president of Santa Barbara Graduate Institute. She holds degrees in prenatal, perinatal, somatic, and clinical psychology. Glenn served on the board of directors for the Association for Prenatal and Perinatal Psychology and Health (APPPAH) and chaired several of their conferences. She co-produced the documentary Trauma, Brain, and Relationship: Helping Children Heal; and has appeared in What Babies Want; What Babies Know; and Reducing Infant Mortality and Improving the Health of Babies.

Michael Craig Miller, M.D.

Michael Craig Miller, M.D., was Editor in Chief of the Harvard Mental Health Letter from August 2000 to March 2012. Dr. Miller’s writing on mental health topics has appeared in Newsweek, the Boston Globe and in syndicated articles that appear in newspapers nationwide. He has appeared as a commentator on the Today Show, The Martha Stewart Show, ABC News, CNN, and NPR and for media outlets in the Boston area. In practice for more than 30 years, Dr. Miller is a member of the faculty of Harvard Medical School and on the medical staff at Boston’s Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center.

Ted Hutman, Ph.D.

Psychologist and assistant professor in Psychiatry at the David Geffen School of Medicine at UCLA

Dr. Hutman is a clinical and developmental psychologist whose research interests include autism and social emotional development. He is an Assistant Clinical Professor in the Department of Psychiatry and Biobehavioral Sciences at the David Geffen School of Medicine at UCLA. He teaches social skills to teens and their parents through the PEERS Program at UCLA. Dr. Hutman is the recipient of a career development award from the National Institute of Mental Health. He is a member of the American Psychological Association and he is a licensed clinical psychologist in the state of California.
